I am sure the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando has seen some rock stars in their day, but they have never seen the marketing automation rock stars that we brought in.  Fused is a celebration of what we love most about marketing automation – our customers.

Our customers are rock stars because we give them the instruments and they make the music. After lots of band rehearsals, or as we call them in the digital marketing world, email campaigns, these headbangers make their marketing automation software shine. They’ve practiced, perfected, are are still hungry to learn more about the industry and the tools that drive it.

SalesFUSION’s second annual customer conference took place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando from October 9-11, 2013. The event kicked off on Wednesday evening with a welcome reception for the more than 50 customers and partners that were able to leave their offices and ever-bulging email inboxes behind to kick back with us poolside.

Paparazzi circled overhead in helicopters trying to get a glimpse of our party under the guise of getting video of roller coaster riders stranded on a nearby coaster at Universal Studio.  But, we all know the real truth here…  Seriously though, this was an amazing evening filled with food and spirited conversations based around our common marketing interests.  Did I mention we have the best customers ever?

Our star studded event included LinkedIn Rock Stars, Mike O’Neil and Lori Ruff, as well as keynote speeches from CMO, Kevin Miller, VP of Client Experience, Jamie Whited, CTO, Chad Ruff, CEO, Christian Nahas, and most importantly our Marketing Heroes Mandy Hauck and Trish McLoughlin.   

Keynote speakers Lori Ruff and Mike O’Neil energized the room with tips and tricks to improve LinkedIn profiles. They answered questions such as ‘should you accept connections from people you don’t know?’ and explained how to effectively detail your job title without sounding redundant.

After perfecting their LinkedIn profiles and uncovering secrets of the site, attendees got to hear firsthand SalesFUSION success stories from customers who have implemented, adapted, and succeeded with SalesFUSION 360 software.

Trish McLoughlin from Managed Maintenance spoke about email marketing best practices and how SalesFUSION’s platform has helped her company organize their CRM and improve their sales pipeline. Trish detailed how to get the most out of your CRM integration with SalesFUSION, especially how customized fields and reports have benefited Managed Maintenance.

“SalesFUSION saves you a lot of time and energy in marketing and provides for a foundation of system accountability,” Trish said during her presentation.

Fellow rock star, Mandy Hauck from CentricsIT’s presented the Marketing Experiments Conversion Formula, the psychology of motivation, and how to apply motivation principles to SalesFUSION campaigns. Mandy discussed the science of marketing, focusing on patterns and formulas that develop as leads convert to customers.

As part of our ongoing Marketing Heroes nominations, we awarded one from our group of finalists with an all expenses paid trip to the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.  Congratulations to Trish on earning our most prestigious marketing award!  

Fused 2013 was a booming success thanks to a rockin’ venue, plenty of grub for the roadies, the SalesFUSION documentary crew, a great set list, and our talented SalesFUSION customers.
