As I write this, our customer and partner conference Fused 2014 has been over for about 24 hours. Swag litters our office and the presentations are being prepared to send to attendees. Taking a step back, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what an amazing group of people the Salesfusion, becoming Sugar Market, family is.
There were three important things I was reminded of over and over this week:
- Our customers rock. We spent hours talking with our customers about their businesses and learning about their goals, challenges, and even their lives and favorite vacation spots (who knew Disneyland was so different from Disney World?). I have been to many, many conferences where the networking events are stuffy, forced, and awkward, but I felt none of that this week. It felt like a group of old friends catching up over barbeque and Coke floats.
- We have the best partners. Our business partners showed up in a big way this year, with a record number of partner companies attending Fused. They sponsored networking events, held meetings, and attended sessions. It was fantastic to see how engaged our partners are with Salesfusion and our clients.
- Salesfusion employees are winners. They’re the best. That’s all there is to it. Putting on an event like Fused is never a one-person job, and the team here at Salesfusion was constantly asking how they could help and where they should be. From our most creative to our most technical employees, everyone there contributed to the event to make it a fantastic experience for our customers and partners.
When you look at those three things, there’s a common thread. The event was about our customers and everyone there was focused on making it a success for them. When your team comes together around a common purpose, amazing things can happen.
